Role Summary:
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement the customized targeted sales strategies to
  • expand the company’s customer base for both contracting and consulting business verticals.
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research
  • on the prospective client’s business needs and pitching services of the company.
  • Create contract-winning proposals for the current and prospective client.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Communications & interactions with prospects during the entire lifecycle of business development while keeping track of the progress and maintaining relevant records.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.  
  • Collaborate with Technical and HR teams to ensure contracted services
  • are executed on time and as agreed. Other Functional, operational,
  • and/or admin support during deliveries & fulfillment process.       
  • Coordination with technical and/or delivery team as and when required for
  • relevant updates with delivery perspective.

  • Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively.
  • Post deliveries and other aspects of Client Relationship Management   
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, services, processes, and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
  • Keeping on top of  business operations  tasks – such as updating CRM, delivery progress, billing & collections 
  • Work closely with Presales and senior management to identify and manage risks.
  • Research and identify new market opportunities
  • Prepare and update documents, forms, templates, and other relevant collaterals 
  • Entry of business leads and relevant information in a proper IT system and CRMs for ready reference and analysis.   
  • Other functional or administrative assistance may be required for an efficient & effective teamwork environment.
Academic:
Experience:
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales executive,
  • consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excellent communications & interpersonal skills to communicate and deal effectively at all levels. 
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • The business development-oriented mindset with good knowledge of client relationship management.
  • Aptitude for acquiring new knowledge & up-skilling. 
  • A versatile personality with a professional approach & attitude is the prerequisite for the position.   
  • The knack for dealing with people, external agencies, and vendors.    
  • Willing to travel 
  • 3-4  Years of sales experience ( IT preferred , but not mandatory in exceptional cases )
  • Languages to speak  ( More the better)

2 to 4 years’ experience in Business Development in B2B, preferably in any IT Business.
